Play By Heart

My little niece Christina and I have printed and cut these brilliant masks of some pop cultural heroes that I found here. The original mask had their eyeballs popped out, but Christina suggested to correct the mistake and give them back their eyeballs. Then we took some photos. Afterwards we danced to Diamond Rings.

Christina is a lovely girl who gets along very well with cats. She likes Maurice Sendak and mini chocolaticas. She loves watching Yo Gabba Gabba even is she doesn't understand a word, but what she loves doing the most is watching me brushing my teeth!

John O, you have some special affection on me and I like it. I think that you are great. I love your catchy songwriting that makes me smile, your vintage synth sounds and definetely your eye makeup.

I feel like sharing lot of stuff i discovered recentrly!

Lets begin with a Flickr Page introducing Charlie Engman: a 21 year old man who currently lives in Oxford, UK. He says, "these photographs are not portraits, not of people nor of places. I’m after something much simpler and more fundamental, I think." That makes his series worth a look right?

Last Friday was the presentation of the Design ''Hot Chocolate'' . Hot chocolate it's a great Venezolan line of lovely, vintage, pop, assymetry shoes named‘Chocolaticas’. Being to Venezuela many times, i got the chance to find out about this amazing design by Pablo Martinez and Carolina Aguerrevere and i decided to bring it home! The event was a great success! Thanks everybody, especially the hero-cat of the night Consta!
