I love Pigeons At the Beach

The Arabian Sea at Varkala bubbles with erratic currents and washing machine waves

On the shore sun-loving tourists disappointed by monsoonal haze

A shiny whistle to the beach police is a wonderful thing 

Saying "move on", "stop staring" or "don't swim"

At tourists season's end touts lose their laid back calm

And a gigolo's eyes dart with anxious alarm

At foreign women predisposed to Ayuverdic relief to a civilization's ills

While for those inclined cold beer & coconut curry provide enough of a thrill
